Spring 2021 - NYC Online

The Spring 2021 citywide class explored their environments. Students learned technical camera use, photo history with an emphasis on photographers of color, and how to create a narrative to guide their opus. Each student examined what makes their pockets of the city unique and why we should listen. Their photo work is introspective and it unearths how

the environment directly impacts self. For the Spring 2021 students, New York is home. Guatemala is home. Plants, the skies, familiar hands, and bricks are all home.
